Ray, Uwe and I can’t say enough about how happy we are, so I thought you’d like our official thank you in the form of a testimonial. Here goes:
Ray is the clear choice for anyone in need of wedding photography in St. Lucia. We found Ray by comparing his beautiful photographs to all the other “cheesy” ones we saw from other photographer’s websites and Ray was already a clear choice. But after that, through every step, our choice was positively confirmed.
First, Ray is the only person Ti Kaye Village officially recommends because as their wonderful wedding coordinator Lita described to me, Ray has never disappointed them. She described that despite the fact he was just the photographer, that he would take us through the whole ceremony process. When I happened to asked her during an unrelated conversation if I had to worry about beach-goers walking in on my ceremony she replied: “not with Ray as your photographer!” She was right that Ray takes control of your wedding in a positive way and really preserves the dignity and romance of every step. He extends beyond his role behind the lens.
His encouraging dialogue throughout, whether it be a clue when to kiss or just his easy conversational style, really put us at ease. He is a true romantic himself and I think that persuades couples to bring out their own sweet side. He made the process very light hearted and fun.
Ray is an extremely creative photographer and prepared exciting images for us without getting in to cliché and staged shots. The romantic sunset shots he took of us look unreal because of his irreverent style! He even took ones of us bursting out in hysterical laughter that other’s may have skipped or scrapped. He just kept shooting when we were being ourselves, and those are some of our favorites. By the same token, we have some incredible posed shots that look like they are out of a magazine. As much as we all want to look like ourselves, we want to look like models too!
Finally, Ray delivered just what he promised in a prompt and professional manner. He was on time, accommodating, and kept to his online claims. I can’t say enough about him to encourage you to choose him as your photographer. Your expectations of how incredible you and your surroundings can look will be exceeded. My husband and I look forward to the possibility of meeting Ray again when we return to the island to celebrate anniversaries in the future. We have never looked so vibrant and alive on film and hope to have the opportunity to be photographed by him again. He is worth twice the price.
